The Queens Arms
The establishment first opened its doors in 1830 under the name "The Spangled Bull." In 1866, it underwent a name change and became known as "The Queen." A year later, in 1867, it was renamed "Queens Arms." From 1883 to 1994, it operated under the name "Queen's Hotel." Today, it is renowned for offering meals that provide excellent value for money. Additionally, it hosts a pub quiz every Thursday evening, adding to its appeal as a local gathering spot.
