Northumberland Arms
The pub, formerly a Robinsons establishment, is now a community-owned venture that reopened its doors on December 16, 2017, following an eleven-month hiatus. This warm and inviting local pub has been painstakingly restored to its original charm by a dedicated team of local enthusiasts. The pub offers a diverse selection of well-maintained beers, occasionally featuring a mild or dark beer. In addition to its drink offerings, the pub has become a hub for local events and a variety of activities, contributing to a vibrant community atmosphere. Among its regular events is a Gin Club that meets every Sunday. For those who enjoy a good challenge, the pub hosts a quiz night every Thursday. Conveniently, there are bus stops in both directions right outside the pub, making it easily accessible for locals and visitors alike. This community-owned pub is not just a place to enjoy a good drink, but also a space that fosters community spirit and camaraderie.
