Located in the charming town of Walthamstow, we are a vibrant live music venue that hosts a diverse range of bands and entertainment acts. Our establishment has a rich history, dating back to 1919 when a group of local Trade Union members identified the need for a communal space where the working class could gather. Their vision came to fruition in September 1920, when our doors were officially opened to the public, marked by a grand ceremony featuring a brass band. Today, we continue to serve as a hub for music and entertainment, welcoming everyone to enjoy our varied events. Our offerings range from DJ nights that get your feet tapping, to soulful jazz sessions that soothe your senses. Fans of reggae, dub, roots, rockers, and ska will find themselves at home here, while lovers of Motown, soul, dance, and vocals will also be captivated by our line-up.
