Towler Inn
The pub, boasting a rich history of over 300 years, is named after the lead beagle hunting dog, Holcombe Hunt. It offers a lively atmosphere with a pool table located in the rear section, while a quieter area towards the front houses the sports televisions. The management is keen on fostering a vibrant community spirit by encouraging patrons to form teams for various games such as darts, dominos, pool, and crib. To enhance the entertainment quotient, a DJ is scheduled to perform on the last Friday and Saturday of every month, with live acts alternating between Fridays and Saturdays. As part of its service expansion, the pub plans to introduce lunchtime meals during the summer season. After a temporary closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pub reopened its doors to the public in 2021. The management is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons, ensuring they can once again enjoy the unique charm and camaraderie that this historic pub has to offer.
