Breaking News: Remotegoat Reviews are back

After a long break we're back reviewing events across the UK.

If you are interested in getting your event reviewed by our team, please follow the steps outlined below.

How to request a review

First ensure your event is listed on the remotegoat website.

It's free to list events, so either add a new event here or when viewing an existing event click the request review link.

Review requirements

In order to be assigned a reviewer your event must meet the following requirements.

  • We need at least 7 days notice to assign a reviewer, last minute request requests can't be actioned.
  • Reviews can be requested by venue managers, performers, production creatives or the publicity team - if you are not connected with the event we can't accept your request.
  • You must be able to provide our reviewer with a free ticket to the event.

What happens next

Your review request will be passed to our editorial team and we'll attempt to find a local, interested reviewer to cover your production.

We don't have enough reviewers to cover all requests and we only assign reviewers who are actively interested in covering the production to ensure it's seen in the best possible light.

How we approach reviews

Our reviewers strive to be both encouraging, honest and accurate, focusing on the positive aspects of every productions.

We're not sycophantic, but consider us the Ted Lasso of review sites.

All reviews are at least 300 words long, have no star rating but come with a 5 word summary, which we hope accurately reflects the reviewer's experience.

What if you don't like the review

Reviews are subjective and we can't promise you'll agree with the reviewer's experience or opinion.

We don't remove reviews, but where possible we'll try to arrange a second review with another member of our team.
