, St Peter's
During the mid-Victorian era, a surge in health consciousness and a fascination with travel led to the development of Harrogate, centered around its newly constructed spa. Mary Anne Fielde, a prominent figure of the time, generously donated her residence to serve as the Vicarage. In addition, she also provided her garden as a site for the construction of a church and a school. This act of philanthropy played a significant role in the establishment of Harrogate as a thriving community.
