Blackstone Engine Bar
Located within the historic Denver Mill complex, the bar is situated in what was once the old workshop. The bar's unique character is further enhanced by the presence of the powerful Blackstone diesel engine, which was originally used to power the mill. This engine, still functional and housed in its original engine house, is a sight to behold. The bar also features some of the mill's original machinery, which inspired its name.
In 2019, the bar was recognized as the local Cider Pub of the Year, a testament to its quality offerings. While the bar does not serve food, it has a mutually beneficial arrangement with the neighboring cafe. Patrons are allowed to bring their beer into the cafe or take their food into the bar, ensuring a versatile dining and drinking experience.
