St Mary Magdalene
The stunning church that graces our community was constructed in the years 1837 and 1838. This architectural masterpiece holds the distinction of being the inaugural project of the esteemed architect, Sir George Gilbert Scott. Interestingly, Sir Scott was the nephew of Revd Samuel King, who was the incumbent at the time. This historical connection adds another layer of significance to our beloved church.
