St Bartholomew
Located in the heart of Meltham, the church was sanctified on St. Bartholomew's Day in 1651 by Bishop Henry Tilson, who previously served as the Bishop of Elphin in Ireland. It is thought to be one of the rare churches in England that were consecrated during the Commonwealth era.
