Welcome to our charming coaching inn, a historical gem that has been standing since 1630. As you navigate through the narrow entrance, you'll be transported back in time to an era of horse-drawn coaches. While the building has undergone extensions and modifications over the years, it still proudly holds a Grade II listing, a testament to its historical significance. One unique feature of our inn is the interior staircase, which is not just a functional part of the building but a piece of history itself, boasting a Grade I listing. The main bar, which was once divided into several rooms, now offers a spacious area for guests to relax and socialize. At the front of the pub, you'll find a cozy pool room, perfect for a friendly game or two. If you're in the mood for a meal, head to our restaurant located at the back of the inn. We serve traditional pub food from Thursday to Saturday between 12 pm and 2 pm, on Saturday evenings from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, and on Sundays from 12 pm to 3 pm. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a food lover, or simply looking for a unique and welcoming place to unwind, our inn offers a blend of history, charm, and comfort that is sure to make your visit a memorable one.
