After undergoing a significant renovation, the pub reopened its doors in November 2022. The bar has been repositioned and now greets guests as they enter through the front door. At the time of opening, three handpulls were installed, with two currently in operation. A charming, small orangery has been constructed at the front of the pub, adding to its appeal. The pub boasts stunning views of the Houghton countryside, offering a delightful backdrop for patrons as they enjoy their visit. Food is available every day, with a wide-ranging menu that caters to a variety of tastes. As you explore the pub, you will notice an array of memorabilia adorning the walls and spaces, adding to the unique atmosphere. Among these, a statue of Elvis stands out in the restaurant area, serving as a conversation starter and a nod to the King of Rock 'n' Roll.
