The 1840 Tithe map reveals that the land was owned and occupied by Samuel Jones, although the name of the pub was not specified. However, by 1875, the Ordnance Survey map identified the establishment as the Farmers' Arms. The pub was once part of the Greenall Whiteley chain, known for their quality beverages. Today, the Farmers' Arms has been transformed into a modern, open-plan style pub, with a focus on providing an exceptional dining experience. The pub reopened its doors to the public on August 29th, initially serving only beverages. However, plans are underway to introduce a food menu in the near future.
