Dickens Inn

This building was relocated 70 meters and reopened as a pub in 1976 by a descendant of the renowned author, Charles Dickens. Today, it stands as one of the few outlets of SSP that are not situated within airports or train stations. The building's exterior is adorned with redwood weatherboarding, while the interior boasts redwood beams, adding to its rustic charm. The pub offers a spacious ground floor bar, perfect for casual gatherings. Additionally, it houses restaurants on the upper floors, where you can enjoy a variety of dishes, including pizzas. One of the highlights of this location is its excellent outdoor seating options. You can choose to relax on one of the several balconies, offering a fantastic view of the surroundings.
