Swans Nest Inn
The Swans Nest, a family-friendly pub, is conveniently located on Station Road, just off the A379 Exeter to Dawlish road in Exminster. This welcoming establishment has a rich history, having served as an inn since 1876. Originally known as the Station Inn, it catered to travelers from the old railway station, which was part of Brunel's original Atmospheric Railway. Today, as a Palmer's house, The Swans Nest offers a selection of Palmer's beers to its patrons. In addition to its drink offerings, the pub also takes pride in its home-cooked food, which is both delicious and reasonably priced. Food service starts from breakfast and continues until 9pm, with Sunday service ending at 8pm.
