Langstrath Country Inn
Situated at the intersection of the Coast to Coast walk and Cumbria Way, and at the entrance of Borrowdale, The Langstrath is a popular destination for walkers. This location is conveniently serviced by the Honister Rambler bus. The Langstrath has a rich history, originally built as a miner's cottage around 1590 and formerly known as 'Dove Cottage'. The only remaining part of the original cottage is the residents' lounge, which still features its original doorways and low oak lintels. Please note that The Langstrath will be closed until February 14th, 2020. Additionally, please be aware that parking is limited at this location.
