Marquis of Lorne

This information pertains to a Grade II-listed corner pub, nestled in a back street and boasting a rich history dating back to 1880. The pub is notable for its striking tiled frontage and its warm, community-focused atmosphere. In a pioneering move for Conway pubs, this establishment began offering real ale in September 2009. Unfortunately, despite this innovative addition to the menu, the pub was unable to draw in a sufficient number of patrons to justify the continued provision of real ale. As a result, the handpump used for serving this beverage has since been removed. However, patrons can still enjoy the availability of Green King IPA at this historic locale.
