While there are no evening bus services available, the pub is conveniently situated only three-quarters of a mile from Capenhurst railway station, making it easily accessible for those traveling by train. After a brief period of closure, the pub reopened its doors in December 2019. Since then, it has resumed serving Draught Bass, a popular choice among patrons, from its handpump. This pub continues to thrive as a lively and welcoming space for the local community.
