The historic red brick pub located next to the Weaver Navigation has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. Charles Hibbert was the first to manage this establishment from 1763 to 1806, and since his tenure, the pub has seen a succession of 25 different landlords. This grand old pub has recently undergone a refurbishment, completed in July 2021, ensuring it continues to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for its patrons.
