The Fountain Inn
The village pub, which seemed destined for demolition after its closure in 2017, fortunately survived plans to replace it with housing. Following an extensive and tasteful refurbishment, the pub reopened its doors in October 2021. The interior, while largely open plan, is cleverly divided into distinct sections. To the right of the entrance, patrons will find a dedicated space for enjoying their drinks. The remaining area is committed to serving food. The pub also features a sheltered patio at the front, complete with a service kiosk for convenient ordering or take-away options. Additionally, the pub hosts a quiz night every Tuesday, adding to its charm and appeal.
