The Kennington

Formerly known as Allied and the Skinners Arms until around 2004, the establishment is now known as Punch. It underwent a period as a Black Sheep bar before reopening under its current name in March 2012. The venue is housed in a three-storey red-brick building, which is characterized by a copper turret and ribbed white stonework. The ground floor exterior has been extended to the corner, adding to its distinctive appearance. Inside, the decor is fairly modern, featuring an off-white and grey colour scheme. Unfortunately, there are no period features remaining in the interior design. Despite this, the bar remains popular and attracts a good mix of customers. For those who appreciate real ale, Punch offers three handpumps. This variety ensures that there's something to suit everyone's taste. The bar continues to be a vibrant and welcoming place for both locals and visitors alike.
