Priors Oven
The Prior's Oven, the first micropub in Lincolnshire, is housed in a building steeped in history. The structure, believed to be nearly 800 years old, was once part of the Priory of Spalding. Its unique shape has earned it the nicknames 'The Oven' and 'The Prior's Oven'. The building has a rich past, having served as the Spalding Monastic Prison and more recently, a bakery. In mid-December 2013, it was transformed into a pub. The ground floor bar features a distinctive vaulted ceiling, adding to the establishment's charm. Patrons can enjoy beer in traditional pint measures or opt for a smaller one-third pint measure.
