In February 2014, a comprehensive renovation was carried out on a one-bar pub located at the lower end of Clifton Down's 'Strip'. The pub's interior design features bare floorboards and exposed brickwork, contributing to its simplistic yet appealing aesthetic. An open fireplace enhances the pub's cozy and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the pub supports the local arts community by providing an 'Art Wall' at the back of the establishment. This space is dedicated to local artists who wish to display and sell their artwork. The pub also hosts regular live music events, showcasing the talents of local musicians.
