The Fox & Goose
The village, with a rich history dating back 5,000 years, once housed an 18th-century coaching inn located on the Harnham-Blandford Trust Turnpike. This inn was situated just a short distance up from a pub, on the left as you approach Salisbury. In the past, the village was also home to two other pubs, namely the Lamb & Flag and the Jervoise Arms. The gate-house toll was conveniently located near the pub.
