The William IV
Welcome to our charming and vibrant village inn. The establishment boasts a spacious L-shaped interior that beautifully blends the old with the new. The older section of the inn features a low beamed ceiling, offering a cozy, traditional feel. In contrast, the newer section is characterized by a high ceiling with exposed rafters, providing a sense of openness and airiness. Our menu offers a variety of fairly traditional pub food, with a majority of our dishes being home-cooked. We take pride in serving meals that are not only delicious but also give you a taste of home. Our inn is conveniently located near several local attractions. The Trent & Mersey Canal, a popular spot for leisurely strolls, is just 300 meters away, running along the edge of the village. Additionally, the National Memorial Arboretum, a place of national remembrance and a beautiful tribute to our fallen heroes, is located just 1.2 kilometers to the east as the crow flies. If you're traveling by road via A513, it's a slightly longer journey at 2.7 kilometers, but the scenic route is well worth the extra distance. We look forward to welcoming you to our village inn, where you can enjoy a blend of traditional and modern ambiance, delicious food, and the beauty of our local surroundings.
