After a two-year effort by local residents and other stakeholders, a tranquil 16th-century country pub, once under the ownership of the historic Strongs Brewery, reopened its doors in October 2017. The pub, which originally had three bars, now operates with a single licensed bar. The interior features traditional wooden beams, a real fireplace, and a bay window that offers a perfect spot for patrons to relax and observe the passing world. The pub also boasts a generously sized garden, complete with its own duck pond, providing a serene outdoor space for visitors. Please note that the pub's opening hours are yet to be confirmed.
