The Hunters Inn
The original Hunters Inn (Robinsons), a beloved local establishment, unfortunately closed its doors in March 2011. However, the site has since undergone a significant transformation and part of it now houses the new Hunters Inn, which officially opened on July 24th, 2015. Although the new Hunters Inn is slightly smaller than its predecessor, it boasts a single room pub that is decorated in a modern, light, and airy style. Currently, the pub features two handpumps, but there are plans to potentially add a third in the future. While food service is not yet available, it is certainly part of the establishment's near-term plans. The reopening of the Hunters Inn marks a welcome return of the village's only pub, and it is sure to continue the legacy of its predecessor by serving as a central hub for the local community.
