The Gate Hangs Well
Previously located on Gate Hangs Well Road, this slender pub was constructed in 1806 and began operating as an Inn in 1830. It was once a part of the Mitchells and Butlers pub chain. The establishment is divided into two distinct sections: a bar area with wooden flooring, which may feature the smallest pub bench in all of Stourbridge, West Midlands, and a lounge area that is carpeted and tastefully decorated. Additionally, the pub boasts a spacious grassy area at the back, equipped with picnic benches and a covered area designated for smoking, complete with a wood burner.
