Dog & Gun Inn

The Dog & Gun, a historic pub located on the A345 on the southern edge of Netheravon village, seemed destined for permanent closure when it shut its doors in November 2017. However, in 2018, a new Facebook page emerged, documenting significant renovations and hinting at the pub's forthcoming revival. The extensive refurbishment, both inside and out, included the addition of a 'barn' extension to provide accommodation. In June 2019, the Dog & Gun triumphantly reopened its doors to the public. As a part 17C coaching inn, the site retains its original mounting stone, adding to its historic charm. Notably, the Dog & Gun is the last standing of the three pubs that once graced Netheravon.
