Haworth Arms

The Tudor 'Improved' pub, a significant establishment from 1925, was designed by Hull architect Llewellyn Kitchen for Worthington & Co., a prominent large brewer of the time. Despite undergoing several modifications over the years, the original design and layout of the pub are still clearly visible. The pub boasts a number of striking features that have been preserved, including extensive wood panelling throughout the building. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by an oval-shaped entrance lobby, complete with revolving doors, a feature that adds a touch of vintage charm. The rear bar area is distinguished by a domed ceiling, a unique architectural detail that adds to the pub's character. The former smoke room, located on the left side of the pub, is where the original character of the establishment is most prominently displayed.
