The Crofton
In 2020, a significant transition took place at this Punch Taverns establishment. The previous proprietors, Ian and Jenny Readman, decided to step down from their roles, although they continue to be regular patrons of the pub. The baton was passed on to new licensees, Brian Readman, who happens to be Ian's brother, and Mel Taylor, a former bar manager at the pub. They have chosen to maintain continuity by retaining a majority of the existing staff.
