Legh Arms
The village local, once a frequenter of the GBG, experienced a period of decline during its time as a Punch Pub. However, in October 2014, it was purchased by Mike McCombe, owner of the Hop Vine Burscough. McCombe applied his expertise and transformed the struggling pub into a bustling local hotspot, complete with a restaurant. The X2 Liverpool to Preston bus route conveniently stops on the A565, near the roundabout leading into Mere Brow, making the pub easily accessible for patrons.
