Bridge House Tavern
The pub, aptly named after the nearby railway viaduct, presents an unassuming exterior with its dark paintwork, easily overlooked by passersby due to its modest size. However, upon entering, one is pleasantly surprised by the spacious interior, tastefully adorned in vibrant hues of red, grey, green, and notably, purple. The bar, located in the more expansive upper level, leads to a quaint theatre and a two-tiered garden, generously furnished with numerous benches. Despite the lifting of Covid restrictions, it should be noted that the pub's cask has not been refurbished.
