The Rose & Crown
The Grade 2 Listed building, nestled at the base of Clay Hill and constructed in the year 1700, has a rich history. This structure was once a food-centric establishment under the ownership of Dick Turpin's aunt and uncle. In an effort to preserve its historical significance and enhance its appeal, a substantial renovation was undertaken in late 2021. Following this extensive refurbishment, the building proudly reopened its doors in December 2021.
