London Tavern
The pub, which exclusively serves keg beer, still maintains some of its original Charrington's features. The current owners purchased the freehold from Punch Taverns in 2014. They had initially planned to demolish the pub in 2016 and construct flats in its place. However, a nomination for Asset of Community Value (ACV) from the local community prompted the owners to reconsider their plans. The future of the pub remains uncertain, but it holds immense potential. This is particularly significant considering the area has experienced a significant decline in the number of pubs in recent years.
