Bird In Hand
In the summer of 2023, Antic took over a charmingly spacious Victorian corner pub, giving it a smart refurbishment. The establishment boasts a bright and airy front bar that seamlessly transitions into a subtly subdued raised seating area in the rear. While it doesn't feature a garden, it does offer a small outdoor seating area on the side, which serves as a delightful sun-trap during the summer months. Patrons can typically choose from five cask beers, including one or two selections from the in-house Volden brewery. Although the pub did not have a kitchen at the time of its re-opening, plans are underway to introduce one later in the year 2023. This will further enhance the pub's offerings and overall customer experience.
