Plough & Fleece
Since September 2012, the Plough & Fleece has been under village ownership, thanks to a community buyout. The establishment features a low-beamed front room primarily designated for dining, with the exception of a few stools and high tables situated near the bar. The main bar is located in the back room, which also includes a conservatory extension. Many of the tables in this area are also arranged for dining. The Plough & Fleece boasts a large garden that offers picturesque views over the fields leading to the Cam. The establishment takes pride in its selection of four rotating cask ales, which are procured from a variety of small breweries. The menu at the Plough & Fleece emphasizes locally sourced produce, reflecting the establishment's commitment to supporting local farmers and producers. Towards the end of 2022, the Plough & Fleece underwent a change in licensees. Despite this change, the establishment continues to uphold its reputation as a community-owned hub, providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all its patrons.
