Everard's Brewery constructed a pub around 1957 to cater to the expansive housing development located near Downing Drive. The establishment underwent a significant refurbishment in early 2016 to enhance its appeal. Upon entering the pub, visitors are greeted by a bar-lounge area situated on the left side of the entrance. Further inside, a spacious, conservatory-style extension serves as the primary dining area. The pub also boasts a generously sized garden, complete with picnic tables for outdoor enjoyment. The pub's regular beer offering is Tiger, but patrons may also find additional selections from Everard's Brewery. Conveniently, buses 22, 22A, and 22C stop just across the road from the pub, providing easy access to the city centre.
