A re-telling of Louisa May Alcott's classic tale of adolescence sees the March sisters struggling to find their place in an England at war. With their beloved father away fighting in the German trenches the girls are encouraged to discover the world by a mother with unwavering strength – starkly different from one another though an unbreakable bond exists between them and keeps the girls close - even when they're far apart.
