Six o'clock on a summer's morning, flying out over the countryside and it's just...peaceful...beautiful. In this basket you've got three-sixty vision. It gives you amazing perspective...and freedom. Gaze down at the people below and you think "look at them scurrying about down there...poor sods".

It's International Fiesta time. The balloonists take to the air for the flight of their lives. Ride the highs and lows of the dream-making process and witness a mass ascent from a completely different perspective: up close and very personal. From balloon factory machinist to Sky God, meet the people that actually make it happen and leave the crowds stuck on the ground wishing they too could escape.

Whether you have been up there yourself, crave the hubbub of the Fiesta or just love watching from afar, Bristol's nationally acclaimed Myrtle Theatre Company's Hot Air is a touching, funny and beautiful piece of theatre and music that celebrates Bristol people and one of its most legendary industries.

"It is rare that a piece of theatre moves, amuses, and challenges in equal measure. Myrtle Theatre manages all three in a seemingly effortless blend of stark realism, modern myth and musical theatre"
