Six aspiring authors, members of The Pendon Writer's Circle, meet on a winter's evening to discuss their work, or their lack of it. Arnold, the chairman, suggests they make a New Year's resolution that they must produce new writing for discussion at the next meeting. After the meeting ends and the writers have left there is a clap of thunder and the lights go out. Now the stories that might have been written take place before Arnold's eyes, making him confused and bewildered. Crime Thrillers, Historical Romance, Children's Stories and Science Fiction are mixed together with their unlikely plots, characters, and differences in time leading to hilarious results. This will be the first amateur production of the 2005 comedy to be performed in the Cambridge area. Tuesday 5 July to Saturday 9 July. Five performances only, in the recently refurbished home of the Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club and the world famous Footlights Revues.
