Hull Truck Theatre is proud to present

25th October - 17th November, 8pm
Signed Performance: Friday 2nd November

Hull Truck's Wilberforce Bicentenary premiere Sold tells the harrowing and often dehumanising story of some of the 15 million women and children who are sold into the sex trade each year.

Anya, Eva and Katja believed they were coming to Britain to work in legitimate jobs with the hope of a new life. Poor and destitute, they needed money and easily trusted anyone. A body can be bought for £500 and that body will generate £250,000 in the sex industry.

Sold looks at the journey from Eastern Europe to a new life in England.

Sold by friends and relatives… this is their story.
