Sarah Money: An Exhibition of Paintings and Sculptures (2025)
Following an outstanding solo exhibition last summer at The Star Brewery Gallery in Lewes, Sussex artist Sarah Money returns for a presentation of her latest paintings and sculptures. The exhibition will feature 16 new works, including a series of large-scale, emotive natural landscape paintings, vibrant still life compositions and stone-fired ceramic figure sculptures.

With a former background in physical theatre and dance, Sarah Money's works demonstrate a vibrancy informed by intuition, rhythm and movement. Influenced by regular sketching and frequent trips this year to Dartmoor National Park, Sarah's paintings capture observations made over many months and iterations of ideas. The figure sculptures depict gentle postures: a mother cradling her children, an angel, a woman curled up in sleep, but are conversely hardwearing and heavy in texture, suited perfectly to outside spaces.

Star Brewery Gallery gallery is housed in the renovated 18th century Star Brewery building in Lewes and is occupied by artists, framers, potters, filmmakers and many others. The gallery hosts regular exhibitions by national and international artists, and have received acclaim for showcasing exhibitions which examine the beauty of the natural world.
