Join us at Soul Mama for the debut of Izzy & Friends, a one-off live music experience led by acclaimed bassist, vocalist and composer Isobella Burnham.

London-based and Barbadian-grown, Isobella Burnham has become a powerful force in contemporary jazz and soul. Since returning to London in 2018, she has toured across Europe, Africa and Asia as a session bassist for artists including Mabel, Tom Misch, Jorja Smith, Steam Down and Sampa The Great, while also carving out her own space in the thriving London jazz scene. 

Performing under her own name, Isobella has played to sold-out rooms at Ronnie Scott's and The Jazz Café, earning a reputation for deep groove, musical sensitivity and fearless improvisation.

Izzy & Friends is a new live concept where Isobella brings together some of her favourite improvisers for a single, unrepeatable night of music. Expect spontaneous collaborations, rich textures and moments that only happen when exceptional musicians meet in the room.
The evening will feature a quartet setup - Isobella Burnham on bass & vocals, Drums, Keys and Horn 
Warm, intimate and creatively charged, this is a chance to experience the energy of London's jazz scene up close — raw, joyful and in the moment.
