About

Society of Antiquaries of London was founded in 1707. It supports an elected Fellowshop of heritage professionals concerned with material culture and the physical remains of the past. It is located at Burlington House, where it has an Antiquarian research library and diverse museum collection. It also owns and cares for Kelmscott Manor, the former country retreat of William Morris, in Oxfordshire. The Society supports conservation and research into its collections and elsewhere through a grant programme and its own publications. It also provides a variety of public programming like conferenes, exhibitions, and lectures.

Additionally, the Society of Antiquaries of London partners with Create Food and Party Design to provide excellent venue hire services at Burlington House for corporate, private and charitable events.
