The Witch of Edmonton by William Rowley, Thomas Dekker and John Ford.
(New Adaptation by Natasha Dawn)

We all know the dark history of London - Jack the Ripper's Whitechapel, Sweeney Todd's Fleet Street.... but do you know about Witches in North London?

A Demon is abroad in sleepy Edmonton, violating his way through wicked women, Wicker Men and pox-ridden puppets. Servants plot bigamy and blasphemy, whilst their masters trick and torment the town. As a Hellish Hound runs riot, the innocent have only one place to turn for help - the Devil himself.

Periwig and Monkey's macabre new adaptation of the 1621 play The Witch of Edmonton, based on a tragic true life tale of London Witchcraft, is a spine-chilling story of demons, marriage and murder. Shakespeare meets Tim Burton and The Wicker Man, it will make you ask - Is society responsible for our wrong-doings or does Evil truly exist?
