Permission Painted by Stephen M. Hunt, a rehearsed reading to an audience of theatre professionals.

Brian Blessed appears alongside Royal Shakespeare Company actor and international star of film, stage and TV
Hildegard Neil (his wife). Rosalind Blessed (Hildegard/Brian's daughter) co-stars and Mark Hayden (Rosalind's husband) also features. This will be the first time the whole "Blessed" family have appeared on stage together.

A comedy / drama, Permission Painted is about Clara (Hildegard Neil), a mature woman whose only "friends" are the paintings she talks to in a large London art gallery. When Nemesis by Alfred Rethel arrives at the gallery on loan, Clara berates it. She does so because as the Greek goddess of retribution, Nemesis has punished Clara for heinous crimes no earthly court knows of. Clara's diabolical punishment is Albert (Brian Blessed). Clara swears to rid herself of Albert's perennial torment - but can a goddess' punishments be thwarted by a wily, embittered, mortal woman in her senior years?
