This weekend facilitated by Remy Bertrand is for all levels, including people with little or no experience in improvisation.

The ethos is one of sharing, risk taking, fun and forgiveness.

Get wise or laugh trying!

Narrative improvisation is the spontaneously enactment of a scene or story made-up on the spot by a group of people. We constantly tell stories, even to ourselves, as we fit all things into neat narratives to justify our actions, make sense of our lives in retrospect and communicate our thoughts. Improvisators push this talent to the limit by practising it collectively and in real time.

The required skills
You've been improvising since birth so you already know a lot and no extra skill are necessary to start with. The main skills you will develop with practice revolve around attention to others, presence and openness.

"I was sceptical at first. I ended up finding more about myself in one day than I did with one term of my interpersonal communications course." Rachel Melinek (Student)
