The most magical pantomime of them all - Cinderella - will be brought to life in a spectacular production at the Theatre Royal Plymouth this Christmas.

This cast of this year's pantomime will be led by Lesley Joseph as Fairy Godmother. With sumptuous costumes, stunning sets, an abundance of comedy and a flying Pegasus, which transports Cinders to the Ball, Cinderella is produced by Qdos Pantomimes, the world's largest pantomime producer.

Lesley Joseph has starred in countless plays and musicals as well as numerous television and radio programmes. Although Lesley is best known as the neighbour from hell, Dorian Green, in the hugely successful BBC sitcom, Birds of a Feather, she has also appeared in Night and Day, What Not to Wear, My Bare Lady and Ready, Steady, Cook as well as presenting reports for BBC Breakfast and GMTV. She currently presents the Sunday morning programme on BBC Radio London, alongside Christopher Biggins.

Returning to the Theatre Royal where he was a huge hit in last year's pantomime, Peter Pan, the hilarious Matt Slack plays the role of Buttons. Laura Evans from the hit children's television programme The Basil Brush Show plays Cinderella and Martin Ramsdin and David Robbins take on the role of the Ugliest Sisters that Plymouth has ever seen. Together they have one of the largest wardrobes in pantoland - with at least 10 costume changes each per performance!

Speaking at the official launch of the show, Michael Harrison, Managing Director of Qdos Pantomimes and director of Cinderella said:

"There's no doubt that Cinderella is one of the most popular fairytales of them all and we're delighted to have assembled such a hugely talented cast to give Plymouth audiences a pantomime to remember. No production of Cinderella would be complete without the scene where Cinderella swaps her rags for riches with the help of her Fairy Godmother. For this magical and unmissable moment in the show we have created a very special effect - a flying Pegasus, an animatronic horse which transports Cinderella and her coach to the Ball!"

Book now, otherwise not even your Fairy Godmother will be able to magic you a ticket!
