10 Award winning new plays, 22 actors, 2 great nights of entertainment

Sky Blue Theatre presents the première of 10 new one act plays from around the world. An eclectic mix of comedy, thriller, romance, mystery and horror in two evenings wherein the audience will be asked to vote for the play they believe to be the best.

Sky Blue’s Cambridge Theatre Challenge has grown in popularity from a fledgling new play writing competition in Cambridge to an event receiving global interest in just three years.
At The Lost Theatre London, 24th & 25th October, ten winning scripts from hundreds of entries from writers across the world will be performed. A captivating script from emerging talent, fifteen year old Jennifer Sancho will be performed alongside highly successful award winning writers, including three time Emmy-nominee Arnold Kane. From comedy to thriller, physical theatre to musical play the audience can expect two exciting evenings of diverse styles and genres from both new and established playwrights.
BAFTA winning Cambridge born actor Steven Mackintosh, a patron of Sky Blue and a past member of the company will also be giving his support to the project while London based Mini Mammoth Films will be filming the event.

Our selected winning plays are of the highest quality, with nine out of ten plays offered publication last year.
