On a distant island Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan, uses his magical art to shipwreck those who wronged him. His daughter, Miranda, has never seen a man other than her father before and soon falls in love with the stranded Ferdinand. Ariel, a spirit of the island, longs for the freedom that Propsero promised him. Caliban, a native of the island, wants his master Prospero gone from his island. Alonso, a father struck by grief searches for his song. Sebastien and Antonio plot treachery and Stephano and Trinculo stagger drunkenly around the island.

This other-worldly setting of Shakespeare's play will transport you to a different world, where magic is reality though nothing is quite real. With music by Vaughan Williams and a talented troupe of actors, Individual Theatre proudly presents: The Tempest.
